MODULE 6: JOBS IN THE WEDDING INDUSTRY – Success

Once you have developed your skills and knowledge of wedding planning, it’s time to start getting paid for your talents. It’s also time to decide if you are going to set up your own business as a wedding planner, or whether you are going to work for someone else. This module of the course deals with the latter.

We will discuss:

• Different types of employers, including resorts, hotels, reception venues, retailers, stores with gift registries, wedding planning companies, and churches.
• Where and how you can find a job as a wedding planner. How to prepare a resume, what employers are looking for, and what range of salary you can expect working as a wedding planner.

At the end of the module you will find your second self-assignment (which isn’t required for certification).
